SHORT  BIO

Debra Page (born 1975) is a composer, musician, and educator known for her imaginative and stylistically diverse works. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, she studied composition at De Montfort University before completing an MA in Musical Composition at the University of Huddersfield. Drawing influence from jazz, 20th-century avant-garde traditions, and contemporary classical techniques, her dynamic and expressive compositions span jazz ensembles, orchestras, choirs, and various mixed instrumental groups. Her latest work, a song cycle inspired by Celtic myths, will premiere at the Halifax Minster’s Summer Festival in June 2025.
