BLOOD MOON
2022

Following the creation of For Sophie in 2021, I decided to further develop two of the pieces. Blood Moon, originally voiced for guitar, was reimagined for wind quintet, receiving a fresh and dynamic transformation. In this expanded version, structured in a classic ABA form, I delve deeper into its folk-inspired character, shaping an invigorating and rhythmically intricate piece. My aim, as always, is to create music that brings joy—not only to the performers but also to the audience, ensuring an experience that is both engaging and rewarding. Scored for the Sospiri Wind Quintet, the work has yet to receive its premiere performance.
