After graduating in the summer of 1997, I continued my involvement with the De Montfort University Orchestra and Choir under the direction of David Lawrence.

Alongside playing clarinet in the orchestra, I also undertook arranging and transposition work for the ensemble. During this period, I arranged three of Dvořák’s sixteen Slavonic Dances - Nos. 2, 7, and 8 - for a smaller chamber group within the orchestra in preparation for its tour of France.
